Product Description

RF Boost SpeedPro Cell Booster: Home/ Office Building up to 50k sq. ft.

SpeedPro cell phone signal booster kit is for open airspace home, office, or building up to 50,000 square feet. For residential and commercial or industrial installations. It works to improve cellular coverage indoors for all Canada & USA carriers. This is a unique signal booster that amplifies signal at the source with exterior antenna that has built-in signal amplifier. It boosts reception tremendously for smartphones on all networks incl. AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Sprint networks - simultaneously.

Functions for all wireless generation technologies including 2G, 3G, 4G / LTE, 5G-E. In-building coverage open air space area range depends on outdoor signal strength. 1-2 bars would result in good mobile coverage indoor over 3000 sq. ft. 3-4 bars would result in good mobile coverage indoor over 12,000 sq. ft. 5 bars would result in good mobile coverage indoor over 50000 sq. ft.

FCC & IC/ ISED approved maximum signal amplifier Gain 70 dB. The total system gain (signal amplifier plus antennas minus LMR-240 cable loss) is 80 dB. It offers automatic gain and output power level adjustment system for optimum signal enhancement without manual intervention. Easy to install and setup, complete installation can be completed in half an hour by a single individual. Purchase includes 3 years warranty by manufacturer in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Best advantage over most other signal boosters:

The Speed Pro cell phone booster has a powered outside signal amplifier integrated into the outside antenna case. That cellular amplifier and outside antenna are together in the same case, which is mounted on the roof. The biggest advantage to this is a massive reduction in signal loss. Instead of a long cable connecting the outside antenna to the cell amplifier, in which the weak signal deteriorates even further, the Speed Pro phone booster kit has the shortest possible distance between the two. Therefore, it can boost weaker signals than other models. The resulting signal quality is much better, and there is one less component to the system to consider during installation.

Summary:

  • For Home, Office, Villa, Farm, Holiday House.
  • System Gain up to 70 dB.
  • Max Communication Distance 10 to 20 miles.
  • Signal Reception Sensitivity -120 dBm.
  • Uni-directional Outside Antenna / Booster in one.
  • Omni-directional Inside Desktop Antenna.
  • Cables: 45 ft. and 15 ft.
  • Compatible with carriers using 700 MHz (Band 12 & 13), 850 MHz (Band 5), 1900 MHz (Band 2), 2100 MHz (Band 4).
  • Maximum Supportable Data Download/ Upload Speed: 120/ 60 Mbps.
  • Open air-space coverage area @ Strong 5 bars (Outside Signal): Up to 50,000 sq. ft.
  • Open air-space coverage area @ Middle 3~4 bars (Outside Signal): Up to 12,000 sq. ft.
  • Open air-space coverage area @ Weak 1~2 bars (Outside Signal): Up to 3,000 sq. ft.

Note: Coverage will be 75% less if blockages such as walls exist in front of interior antenna. Two cables are supplied (45 ft. and 15 ft.), but only one is required for connecting the single 2-in-1 booster & exterior antenna unit to interior desktop antenna. The longer cable is supplied in case you need to use a longer cable. You can also connect the two cables for reaching out 60 ft. distance from exterior antenna/booster unit to interior antenna. However, we highly recommend using only the shorter cable for best performance to minimize attenuation caused by the cable. Both the booster and antenna uses Type F connector.

How does it work?

  1. Outdoor unit catches the signal from the tower.
  2. Outdoor unit amplifies the signal and sends it to the indoor unit through a coax cable.
  3. Indoor unit rebroadcasts the signal indoors to all mobile devices within range.
  4. The system also works in reverse; amplifying outgoing signal back to the tower.

Please note: The size and the coverage area and the strength of the boosted signal are directly related to two key factors:

  1. Signal strength received by the outdoor unit. So, setting up the outside unit where the signal is the strongest will provide the best results.
  2. Distance of separation between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit.

Signal transmission loss and power level:

Signal transmission loss and power level

Notice: Not recommended when outdoor signal strength is less than -110 dbm (3G/1x) or -120 dBm (4G/LTE). The resulting coverage area of the boosted signal will be prohibitively small.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • How long is the coax supplied in the kit? What is the maximum length for coax between Outside antenna and booster?

There is a 45 feet cable and a 15 feet cable supplied with the kit. You can choose to use either one for connectiing outside antenna with built-in booster to inside antenna that broadcasts the booster signal.

  • Just got my SpeedPro 5 band installed on a 3 story + 2 parking, now get 5 bars instead of 0 or 1 on the 2nd formerly cell dead zone.. with only the first power connected antenna unit installed. I did iPhone *3001#12345#* check. I get rsrp0 -76 but rsrq0 -35. I would like to try to install one or two remote antennas to see if I can get cell service to one or both underground parking levels. But it would take about 150 ft of cable to get from the current location of the indoor power injector/antenna to the upper of the two parking levels. So can I purchase a 150 ft (46M) cable with the N connectors? If I use a signal splitter would it produce better results if I placed the power supply/ antenna at the furthest point (the parking basement) and than one or two additional antennas in the office areas on the first and second floors or or leave the power supply/ antenna where it is on 2nd floor and put the additional remote antennas in the basement? my concern was based on the idea that the signal is going to be declining the further I get from the roof mounted antenna (3-5 bars available ) Perhaps it makes no difference? Perhaps the distance is too great to get a good result. Oh and one more question MY WIFI is reporting “SolidRF_14098126” is there a password to access more performance information or adjustments to improve performance?

Glad to know it has started working for you.

Since we do not understand the structure fully from your question, it will be hard for us to answer your questions properly - but we will try.

Purchasing longer cable to connect will cause significant signal loss but can be done if no other solution.

The good thing is that this kit's booster is outside with antenna (unlike other booster kits that require shortest cable run from exterior antenna to booster unit without splitters and cabling so that main signal source is not decimated).

Therefore, the location of where you put the splitter and extra cabling does not affect the whole signal power you have achieved.

Inside the tower antenna (the first antenna), we have integrated splitter inside already, that you can use!

Please note that the tower antenna must be the first and the only component - you cannot add splitter between it and outdoor booster.

Judging from details you have provided, we think 150 ft. cable from the first position is workable. The only problem is that the signal loss will be around 6 to 10 dB using 400 series cable like LMR400, Wilson400, SC400. The loss will be greater at around 12 to 20 dB if using any RG6 type cable. Therefore, the coverage radius at end of 150 feet long cable will be roughly half (LM400 cable), and quarter (RG-6 cable) of the first tower antenna. After soft installation, you can test the 1st tower antenna's coverage radius to see whether it is acceptable.

As you may know already and per signal loss figures above, LMR-400 type cables are very low loss and professional, almost half an inch in diameter (0.4"), but a bit hard to bend. On other hand, RG6 cables are the same as CATV cable - they fold more easily but incur higher signal loss.

However, if you want to add another splitter at end of the long cable, the coverage radius will shrink by another 50%.

Regarding that Wi-Fi "SolidRF_XXXXXXXX", it is for the monitor inside the booster - It can connect to your smartphone for monitoring and checking booster working status. It is only recommended if you have trouble with the booster not working. That hotspot cannot connect to Internet. Please rest assured that it will not have any impact on your data security.

Please contact us if you have any questions. Thank you.

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
