Give your family, friends, and house guests the gift of high quality, strong, reliable cell phone signals while they're in your home. Never again will people in your home have to deal with missed messages, dropped phone calls, slow download and upload speeds, and constantly buffering video streaming.

The power of the RF Signal Plus is provided by two-panel antennas installed indoors, working together to amplify the cell phone signals delivered to your phones and other mobile devices, along with those of your house guests.

Who Can Benefit from the RF Signal Plus?

If you're tired of experiencing slow data speeds on the mobile network or are frequently frustrated by undelivered text messages or dropped calls, the RF Signal Plus could be the perfect solution for you. It is ideally suited for home offices and residential homes in areas with weak cell signals, including rural areas, remote locations, new and developing communities, cabins, and other often-overlooked areas. It provides relief for those frustrated with poor signal coverage in their home.

Similarly, homes and home offices constructed of materials that tend to block cell phone signals (including UV coated windows, metal constructed homes, concrete homes, and plaster buildings) can benefit greatly from it.

Some people find that only specific areas of their home experience weak signals, such as outbuildings constructed of metal, concrete, or with UV coated windows, or theatre rooms or basements. Anywhere in your home where you're tired of dealing with poor cell reception can be an excellent candidate for this two inside antennas cell phone signal booster kit. Therefore, using 2nd antenna, increase signal strength of mobile network in basement, etc. in addition to main area of concern.

Simple DIY Installation.

For those confident enough to attempt a DIY installation, it includes full documentation and instructions for self-installation, which usually takes about two hours. Alternatively, a professional RF installer will be able to install your new cell phone boosting kit at an additional cost. For small installations and to save money, many people choose to contact a local satellite TV or cable installer since the task of installing a cell phone signal booster is very similar to that of installing a satellite dish or local cable service.

What Is In The Box?

When you purchase a RF Signal Plus signal boosting kit, you will find everything you need for full installation and operation. It is a 75 Ohm impedance system with F connectors. There is no need to purchase anything else as the kit includes all equipment and tools necessary for full installation and use. Basically, it includes the signal amplifier unit, a directional Yagi outdoor antenna, 2 directional Panel indoor antennas, one 15 feet RG 6 cable, and three 30 feet RG6 cables. Installation accessories include 2-way splitter with a magnetic case, 12V / 1.5A AC power supply, wideband outdoor LPDA antenna mounting hardware, and wideband indoor panel antennas (×2) mounting hardware.

Cable length customization.

For most practical purposes, included cable lengths will suffice for installation. However, in rare situations longer cable(s) may be needed due to distance between antenna, and signal amplifier unit. Secondly, in some cases where signal that exterior antenna can capture happens to be very weak to provide enough interior improved coverage space, a customized shorter cable will be best to minimize signal loss. The reason for this is that cables incur signal loss so longer the cable, more the loss of signal incurred. Therefore, see below for optional cable purchase suggestion to facilitate installation and/or better performance.

Optional cable purchase (not required):

Kit includes one 15 ft. RG6 cable to connect to cable splitter and three 30 ft. RG6 cables for connecting interior and exterior antennas to booster via cable splitter. Cables are interchangeable so use them as needed for shortest runs for least signal loss. If needed, different size RG6 cable(s) can be purchased separately. For even better performance, select from low loss RG-11 cables to upgrade cable(s) included (must be bought separately).

How It Works.

Idea behind the RF Signal Plus is simple and intuitive. Cell phone signals originate from a nearby outdoor cell tower. The signal booster works by receiving and amplifying these cell tower signals. It then rebroadcasts the signals within your home office, commercial building, or residential home. LED lights offer signal readout. This is all that is necessary to turn an area or even an entire building that used to suffer from frustratingly weak cell phone signals into an area of full connectivity.

Whether your signal problems are due to your remote location, the materials used in the construction of the building, or the distance between your home and the closest signal tower, this cell phone booster is a simple way to solve the problem of weak cellular signals.

It is fully compatible with all major cell phone providers in United States including US Cellular, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and plenty of others. All 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G-E cellular frequencies can be effectively boosted and enhanced, including:

  • PCS bands 2, 25 - 1900 megahertz.
  • AWS band 4 - 1700/2100 megahertz.
  • Cellular 850 band 5 - 850 megahertz.
  • SMH bands 12, 13, and 17 - 700 megahertz.

Area of Coverage.

Wondering how much area your new RF Signal Plus signal booster will cover? This signal boosting product has been cleverly designed to include two separate panel antennas that work together to broadcast and transmit cell phone signals in the shape of a horizontal cone. While the range and strength of the increased cell signal are impressive, its exact size will depend on a number of factors, including the following:

  • The strength of the cell phone signal received directly from the outdoor antenna.
  • The materials used to construct the building. For example, concrete and steel structures do not transmit cell phone signals as easily as drywall and wood-framed buildings.
  • The particular cell phone frequencies preferred by your individual carrier. For example, PCS and AWS signal are not transmitted as easily as 800 megahertz and low-frequency LTE signals.

As a general rule, the stronger the cell phone signal received from outdoor donor antenna, the greater the internal broadcast distance will be.

For example, a signal of −95 dBm RSRP is considered a strong one, and the RF Signal Plus will be able to transmit a 700-megahertz cell phone signal to cover an indoor area as large as 8000 square feet. At other extreme, a signal of −115 dBm RSRP is considered relatively weak, yet the RF Signal Plus signal booster will be able to use this signal to cover an area of up to 1000 square feet with high-speed strong cell phone signals.

Troubleshooting.

What does the flashing green light mean on the signal booster?

Reasons for Green Alarm Light on Signal Booster

The picture above shows 700MHz has oscillated, but other three bands work properly.

The flashing light means self-oscillation. The self-oscillation could be caused by:

  • The short antenna separation distance.
  • Antennas are pointed at each other.
  • Outside antenna points to a big obstructive which may be reflecting the signal back.

If you have better signal even with the flashing light, you can ignore the flashing green light(s) because it means that oscillation is occurring in a different frequency band which is not being used by your cell phone.

If signal does not improve upon powering on booster, please follow the steps below to solve the issue:

  1. Unscrew all connectors, check if there is any damage, dirt or water inside the connectors.
  2. Screw back all connectors properly, tightly, snugly.
  3. If the booster is equipped with blue gain knobs, adjust them gently to reduce the gain.
  4. Increase the separation distance between interior and exterior antennas, especially the vertical separation distance between the two antennas. The separation distance recommended: Over 20 ft. horizontal and over 15 ft. vertical. For some locations with very little composite in between, over 20 ft. vertical separation distance may be required.
  5. Adjust antennas' direction. Prevent pointing an antenna to another. Please make sure that exterior antenna, and interior antenna are pointed 180 degrees away (as much as possible) from each other.
  6. Avoid pointing outside antenna to big obstructives like wall, house, building, hill or tree.

If the house has metal roof or siding, antenna might need to be away from the metal surface.

Questions & Answers

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I\'m looking for a solution for my property. I am located in Quebec and use Bell Mobility. I have a 6 acre property with an RV on it permanently. Cell signal is weak because I am in a valley surrounded by hills. I need to get an antenna up 22 feet above ground level to get line of sight to my nearest Bell tower and then a booster to rebroadcast to my property. Can you recommend an outdoor solution with mast for my needs? Thank you!

Thank you for your request for the best cellular coverage solution.   With the scenario details you presented, we recommend this signal booster kit: RF Boost 8K   It boosts signal for all Canada Carriers, simultaneously. It is more powerful than most other RV cell signal booster kits but it can be used in your case when RV is parked and stationary.   It comes with 30 ft. cable you can use to connect exterior antenna mounted on our adjustable length max. 25 ft. pole which can be purchased separately.   Please read all details at links above and reply if you have any concerns and/or questions.   If not fully satisfied, we offer full refund on equipment within 60 days.

  • I bought this same cell phone booster for house from elsewhere but antenna became loose. I have been very careful with it, however fell off this morning. I require the booster in order to do my job from home. What do I do?

We sell new kits and you can also buy aftermarket parts separately such as interior 75 Ohm Panel antenna, or exterior pole mount Panel antenna from our website.

  • Is there an option to turn off internal signal transmitters to decrease the EMF radiation exposure and to leave just one or two rooms covered, instead of the whole house?

No, there's no setting on interior antennas (transmitters) to adjust level except that they are directional antennas so you can change their direction if you want to project broadcast in different direction.

You can also unscrew either antenna cable that feeds into the booster to disable it from broadcasting signal.

The power connector on both types of kits can easily be removed anytime to power off the booster completely, and plugged back in, whenever needed for instant boost.

Know that the cell devices emit more radiation when the signal strength is weak so unless the cell devices are powered off, powering off the booster may do more harm with multiple cell phones and tablets emitting more radiation when they detect signal strength is weak (see real news section at preceding link).

Cell devices emit more radiation when signal is weak because they are designed to consistently try to connect to nearest cell tower for stronger and more consistent connectivity when there's no signal or when signal is weak.

  • How many internal transmitters are included in the kit?

This kit has two interior antennas (also known as transmitters, server antennas or broadcast antennas).

  • I live in a rural area with a weak Verizon signal. I have a Yagi directional cell antenna with a Verizon jetdirect wi-fi box but signal is still weak. Do you have anything that will take care of that issue? I already have a Yagi directional antenna and only need one indoor antenna, what would you recommend?

With the situation you have described, we don't think just an interior antenna will work in conjunction with exterior antenna because the cable loss this passive antenna system will incur will offset any Gain achieved by outside antenna.

A powered signal amplifier will be required to amplify signals caught by outside antenna due to signal loss or attenuation that occurs with coaxial cable transmission.

Unfortunately, we cannot sell just signal amplifier and inside antenna (without outside antenna), because the kits we sell must be sold as complete kits including exterior antenna, interior antenna(s), associated cables, connectors, and the signal booster main unit itself - as certified and approved for sale by FCC.

Therefore, please consider purchase of either a complete cell signal booster kit with nationwide installation or this DIY cell phone signal booster kit.

  • Will this boost multiple carriers signal at the same time?

Yes, this cell signal booster kit will improve signal of all mobile Carriers at the same time, for all cellular devices within interior antenna's wireless range simultaneously.

  • I just bought the above shown booster and it seems to be working well, much better than our Frontier internet. I need a device to link the cell signal to my PC. I have a ASUS mdl #M32cd. It doesn't have a "Cellular" feature under settings and my Windows 10 is 1909. I was interested in an eSIM installation. But would rather have a plug and use modem that would also handle WIFI.

You can connect your desktop PC or laptop computer to your cellular network by turning on "Wi-Fi" network and turning on Mobile Hotspot in your cellular device.

Step 1: Turn on Mobile hotspot in your Apple iPhone, Android smartphone, or Mi-Fi hotspot device by going to "Settings > Personal Hotspot".

Step 2: "Wi-Fi" network can be turned on in any type computer whether IBM computer, MAC computer, Linux computer, etc. After turning it on, look for available networks and choose your phone's hotspot network you turned on in step one.

This will enable your computer to use your boosted cellular network data transfer plan that uses your allotted data within your cell subscription plan.

On another note, FYI only, a cellular hotspot connection is even more safe and secure than standard wifi connectivity because it is using the secure mobile network encryption.

  • Viewing item, does "Dual" mean it provides coverage to different geographic locations in the house? I have an upstairs that is almost an apartment style living area of my home and my down stairs area. I would like one booster or one receiver to cover both areas?

Yes, the dual meaning two broadcast antennas for interior of building structure can be placed in two separate sections of the home so that cell coverage boost will occur in both sections. One can be placed in your apartment-style living area, and other can be placed downstairs or in basement so that both areas will have improved, better, strong cellular signals.

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
