Product Description

Premium Quality Wide Band Outdoor Yagi/ Log Periodic Antenna Directional with Reflector Grid. For 3G, 4G LTE, WiFi networks. Operates on 50 Ohm impedance. Works on wide frequency range from 698 MHz to 2700 MHz. Yields up to 10 dBi Gain. It can be mounted on top of any house or building on roof outside to improve access to cell phone tower signals for boosters and amplifiers installed inside. This is our premium signal booster custom style # 6 inventory item: Outdoor Yagi/ Log Periodic Antenna Directional with Grid Reflector, 3G 4G LTE WiFi, 50 Ohm, 10 dBi, 698-2700 MHz with UPC 697691010700. We carry an alternate 12dBi Gain version of this 50 Ohm Metal Reflector Directional Grid Antenna (12dBi) as well.

This is a directional Log Periodic Antenna, also known as Yagi antenna, which transmits powerfully in one direction. It is designed for using outdoors with any 50 Ohm 2G, 3G, 4G and LTE cellular signal amplifier or repeater. It boasts up to 10 dBi Gain. Compatible with most 50 Ohm cell phone repeaters and boosters, including Uniden, Hiboost, SureCall and Wilson weBoost.

This uni-directional Log-Periodic antenna will work for all international mobile frequency bands for 3G, 4G, LTE data and voice with any carrier including ATT, Telus Mobility, T-Mobile USA, Bell Canada, Verizon Wireless, Rogers and many more. In most instances, this unidirectional Yagi-antenna is used as an on-building roof antenna to improve access to mobile tower signals for signal amplifiers and boosters that have been installed inside. However, it can be used within interior spaces inside big buildings, warehouses, etc. to transmit excellent coverage from one area to boost weak coverage in another area.

The wide frequency range also makes it ideal for use at 900MHz and 2.4GHz for Wireless Video applications and WiFi.

Reflector Grid.

It features a die-cast aluminum reflector grid that is corrosion resistant and mounted on the rear of antenna. The grid improves the Gain, Front to Back Ratio and Return Loss. This grid / log periodic yagi antenna is completely weatherproof and can be mounted on a pole with the hardware included. The 9 inch low-loss RG58 antenna lead is terminated with an N Female connector which is typically used with 50 Ohm low loss coaxial cable.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I would like to combine this with a booster kit and would like to know how far I can run the antenna cable and which cable you recommend? Thanks.

Please contact us because you have not provided enough information for us to determine your needs. If it is a 50 Ohm booster kit you have, we recommend any size needed SureCall-400 cable. Cables can be purchased based on the lengths needed, based on distance where you can place exterior antenna, booster kit, and interior antenna. If it is a 50 ohm impedance cell phone booster kit, no connector would be needed. If it is a 75 ohm kit that you have, then a Type N to Type F connector would be needed.

  • Hello, I like this product with the reflector signal collector. However, I would like to know if it is possible to use 2 in tandem to improve signal? Would it be possible to incorporate 2 on one router? I have seen and researched, and found such option opinion in order to receive good signal when in remote areas. That is, in order to get GOOD reliable signal, to use 2 antennas when possible if router has provision to use two 2 antenna connections - and to use both if possible. Is this true, in that is it possible to DOUBLE up on signal.. ie: An extra antenna will help?

If you purchase a cellular modem that has dual inputs for an external antenna, it would be a good idea to use two antennas to help make the signal more consistent. It may not double the signal, however, you should see speeds comparable to what the speeds are in close proximity of the tower.

  • The closest tower from my location is 12 miles away. Will this pick up the tower elevation change of 700 ft? I'm on the high end of the slope.

Sorry, we cannot confirm that with certainty due to cell tower transmitted signal strength variations - but yes, there's a possibility it would. Thankfully, we offer 60 days money back guarantee so you would have plenty of time to test it out and return if it does not help pick up usable signal.

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
