6-25 ft. Telescoping Antenna Pole with Base, and Mount for RV / Building Wall.
This 6 ft. to 25 ft. adjustable pole with mounting kit is designed primarily to work with RV applications as a RV mast. This telescopic pole is included with weBoost RV 65 cell phone signal booster kit. It is for mounting its external antenna very high up to overcome obstructions all around its 360 degrees.
This 25 foot pole has outside diameter of 2 3/4 (2.75) inches on bottom and 1 7/8 (1.875) inches at the top. If bad weather or lightning forecasted with wind speed over 35 MPH, lower the mast down to 6 feet.
How does it work?
This telescoping antenna mast for RV requires being mounted to a vertical structure and can be configured to any height from 6 feet through 25 feet by twist-locking the five telescoping sections into place. The last image above shows the telescope pole for outside antenna fastened to RV or building wall. This 25 ft. Antenna Mounting Pole for RVs can also be used for mounting outdoor antennas on the side of a building or other wall that has smooth surface like vinyl siding that would adhere to adhesive.
What will it work with?
Telescope pole's compatible with all Outside Omni Antennas (for example weBoost model part numbers 304421, 304422, 304424, 304421). It is also compatible with all Directional Yagi Antennas (for example SKU #'s 314475, 314411) and Outdoor Panel Antennas (sample SKUs 314453, 314473).
What are the benefits?
Benefits include increased isolation between the donor and server antenna so signal enhancing system functions at its best providing maximum coverage inside RV. It is a known fact that higher antenna installation is better because the height overcomes obstructions like trees, hills, valleys, other RV's, housing structures, etc.
This adjustable tall pole's 6 ft. to 25 ft. height provides exterior antenna with a more direct path to the cell tower. Excellent for installing cell phone signal booster systems in recreational vehicles because they venture far and wide where signals may be extremely sparse.

I like this expandable antenna pole. I would like to mount it on my RV ladder. Does the pole need to extended to the ground to be sturdy once deployed or are the ladder connections enough to keep it steady?
Sorry, this pole does not come with any ladder connections. It is designed strictly for antennas, and comes with a wall attachment to keep it sturdy but that wall mount won't be of any use to you if you mount it against the ladder. However, we suppose you can adhere it against the ladder with zip ties, rope, etc. The base rests on the ground and does not need to be burrowed into the ground - meaning, your self-made DIY connections against the ladder should suffice.
If you want a pole that has a 16" PVC ground sleeve for digging the pole into the ground to secure it, you may consider the 25 ft. telescoping flag cum antenna pole. It works for both antennas or flags and is the kind that needs to be dug into the ground for support.
What is diameter at the top of the pole when fully extended to 25 ft.? How heavy antenna(s) or other devices can it hold?
The top of the pole measures 1 7/8 inches in diameter. This telescoping pole is designed to securely and safety hold any of our cellular antennas that can weigh up to 3.31 lbs. but can possibly hold heavier objects (at your own risk).
I'm interested in this telescoping pole for mounting an antenna but have few questions about the pole: 1) How does the telescoping sections clamp together? 2) Is it possible to provide a CAD or .stp file of assembly? 3. Is there an exact length for the retracted assembly?
1. The telescoping pole is all collapsible as one continuous part. What we mean by that is that the sections collapse inside the next section. Therefore, they extend out, and you twist it to lock that section. It will hit a point where you can't extend a section anymore, and you will need to twist it to lock it in place.
2. Sorry, we don't have a CAD or .stp file for the pole that we can give out at this time.
3. The retracted assembly is 6 feet.
What is the cotter pin and wire used for?
That pin passes through a hole to fix the pole against the mount tightly together. The pipe / pole's cotter pin and wire are used to connect the pole to the adhesive bracket. The ring with wire is used to put finger in and pushed through the hole, making it a tight connection with mounting bracket. What is the retracted total length of this antenna pole? I am assuming it is 72 inches based on the minimum six foot height. I am just trying to verify that it is no longer than 72 inches when it is retracted. Thanks!
You are correct, this telescoping pole retracts down to six feet.
What wind speed can this withstand? Is it practical for a home install?
It is not wind speed rated at this time but can definitely withstand winds speeds of up to 35 mph with mounted antenna up to 3 pounds heavy. Therefore, it can securely hold 3 lb. antenna in place for all practical purposes and wind conditions in normal weather. If there's a weather alert in your area, we would recommend lowering the telescoping pole to minimum height to err on the side of caution. Yes, this can be attached on the side of a home, just the same.
What is this made of? Fiberglass, PVC, Aluminum, plastic? How much weight will it safely support at full extention?
It is a strong metal (aluminum design). It is made to securely hold Yagi antenna that weighs 1.37 lbs, but has not been tested for additional weights.
Does this come with quick release clamps for attaching to an RV ladder?
The mounting brackets that come with this telescope pole are not called quick-release clamps - however, they function in a similar way. They are bracketing mounts that attach to the side of the RV allowing for quick install and un-install.
Does this RV pole have a base that can screw into something?
RV Pole has base that merely rests on ground, but can possibly be dug into the ground for more support. Flag pole can only be dug deep into the ground because it does not come with any RV or wall attachments. Neither pole's base can be screwed into anything, per se.
Will this work with the weBoost Drive X RV (471410) Cell Phone Signal Booster?
Yes, you can technically use it with that RV signal booster kit when your RV is parked.
When RV is stationary, you can mount outside antenna on the pole attached to side of RV and raise it as high as your cable length of 25 ft. allows stretching from amplifier to exterior antenna.
You will need to dismantle when leaving RV campsite though, and maybe re-mount exterior antenna on RV ladder or on mirror using mirror mount.
Does the pole include the mounting brackets to attach to a wall?
Yes, it does include brackets to attach to wall.
Does the antenna come with a mounting bracket?
This purchase of adjustable 6 ft. to 25 ft. pole does not include cellular antenna which, if purchased separately, would include the mounting bracket.
Here's an example of a 75 ohm Directional Yagi Cell Antenna, which when purchased separately (as mentioned above) would include the mounting hardware but will not include the pole to mount it on.

If it twist locks to telescope, how do I mount it to my RV and then get it to telescope out? Do I take it down, extend it, mount it, then do the reverse to move my RV?
After extending it however tall you need to extend it, it can be mounted on the side of RV using the mounts provided. Yes, you would do the reverse to remove it fully an unattach to RV before driving away. This is only for temporary antenna mounting when RV is parked, you cannot leave it on while driving.
What material or metal is the pole made out of? Fiberglass? Aluminum?
It is made if lightweight aluminum that works fine to mount an antenna at its highest point.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Please check outside signal level in decibels before ordering. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.
If it is too weak, submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
Please note: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
