The CriticalPoint Class A dual or single band channelized Fiber DAS operating on all Public Safety 700/800 megahertz band frequencies was primarily designed with the safety of first responders and the public in mind. In full compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the IFC, the Critical Point Fiber DAS supports up to 2W of output power for each band (Remote Unit) along with 32 700/800-megahertz channels. In order to optimize the quality of communications to ensure that interference with base stations is kept at minimal levels, the unit provides uplink AGC functions and uplink squelch, both channelized.
Thorough alarming capabilities are included, in full support of the alarming and monitoring required by the IFC and NFPA, while remote monitoring can be undertaken either locally or SNMP-based. Of convenience to system integrators involved in deployments are the built-in isolation testing functions and signal generators. Powered by either 48-volt DC or AC, the unit can fit in with your existing system, allowing for unlimited flexibility.
