Longest 4G LTE Trucker Antenna is adjustable from 17 inches to 45 inches with provided mast extensions. This truck antenna for cell phone signal booster kits is the tallest wideband antenna available covering a wide range of mobile frequencies (see specifications table below).
It is an external antenna for use outside your vehicle. It is black in color. It draws signals omni-directionally providing 2.5 dBi to 3 dBi Gain depending upon the frequency signals boosted. With SMA female connector at end of cable and included SMA male barrel connector, it works with practically all 50 Ohm cell phone signal amplifiers by all brands. It was initially designed for use with weBoost Drive 4G-X, Drive 4G-M, Drive 4G-X OTR, Drive 3G-X, and Drive 3G-M by Wilson Electronics. SMA Male to SMB Adapter is required to connect it to Drive Sleek cradle cell phone booster unit or the Drive Reach 4G wireless multi-user in-vehicle signal booster kit.
This is new updated modular antenna with side exit adapter. This omni-directional antenna works on all vehicles including large trucks, big rigs, RVs, and boats. It is compatible with all Cellular, PCS, AWS service providers within stated frequency ranges. Omni-directional antennas gather cell signals from all directions and do not have to be pointed towards a cellular tower.
If you have a truck, SUV or any other type of large vehicle you will find this versatile antenna is an ideal choice because it rises high to grab most signals. This 17" to 45" antenna must be installed vertically to draw signals from all directions. All USA & Canadian Carriers supported including T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T Wireless.

4G OTR Antenna Kit Parts Included:
Installation: Antenna placement.
- Select mounting location on vehicle. Some trucks have built in mounting points, others will require after market antenna mount.
- Antenna should be mounted above the metal cable of the vehicle.
- Mount at least 12 inches from any other antennas.
- At least 6 inches from any windows.
- Cable will need to be routed through door. Will not work with existing built in CB antenna cable.

Installation: Antenna assembly.
- Antenna can be configured into three lengths.
- The kit includes side exit adapter, spring, and 3-way mount to work with a variety of installs.
- Determine the best location for the antenna and then add mast extensions to make the antenna the required length. Run the cable through the extension masts and screw into place.

I checked the WeBoost website and it says that it covers 5g on the following page: https://www.weboost.com/boosters/cell-phone-signal-boosters Here is the exact text it says: "Will cell phone signal boosters that work on 4G also work on 5G? Yes. weBoost signal boosters are 5G ready and will continue to amplify cell signal for all mobile phones and cellular devices for the next decade and beyond." Is the weBoost website wrong? Can you clarify this huge discrepancy with weBoost please? Thank you!
weBoost website is technically not wrong but, in my opinion, it also does not clarify fully that their current boosters and this antenna will not help boost 5G network itself. When they say "5G ready", it does not mean they boost the 5G network signals.

Answer: Yes, our current weBoost product line will work in a 5G world. Carriers will continue to rely on the 4G LTE network to provide service for the majority of subscribers well into 2030 and beyond.
On the WeBoost website it says that this is compatible with 5g, but on here it only lists that it is compatible with 700-900MHz, I thought 5g was 600-700MHz?
No, this does not cover 600-700 MHz sub-6 5G frequencies used by T-Mobile Band 71. When we checked weBoost website, we could not see where it states that this antenna model covers 5G. Maybe they spotted the mistake and removed it before we checked.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
