Magnet Car Antenna with SMB Connector | weBoost 314418 by Wilson Electronics.
Mini magnetic base mounted antenna for cars, vans, SUVs, trucks and RVs is four inches in height. It has attached 10 feet long LMR100 low loss coaxial cable. It has 50 Ohm impedance. It terminates in a snap-on SMB connector which fits many in-vehicle cell phone signal booster kits such as "weBoost Drive Reach" and "weBoost Drive Reach Fleet" by Wilson Electronics. Unlike SMA or FME connectors that "screw-on", SMB connector "snaps-on" into place.
High strength magnet base vehicle cellular donor antenna for auto, car, pickup truck, RV, SUV works omnidirectionally catching wireless signals from all directions. Installation is simple: Place this mag. mount antenna on roof of vehicle where it will stick firmly with its strong magnetic base. This antenna will work with any multi-user vehicle cell phone boosters that require SMB connection.
SMB connectors (SubMiniature version B) are coax RF connectors that are smaller than SMA connectors. They feature a snap-on coupling for easy snap-on installation instead of typical treaded roll-up and tighten connectors. They offer excellent electrical performance from DC to 4 GHz.
Installation:
Identify a location on the top of your vehicle that is near the center of the roof. Place atleast 12 inches away from any other antennas and from any windows (including sun roofs). Clean the surface where you will place the outside antenna. Mount the outside antenna by placing on top of vehicle. NOTE: For aluminum roofs, use the included adhesive disk to secure outside antenna in place.
How can the cable can be routed with different vehicles?
The cable is strong enough that it may be shut in most vehicle doors without damaging the cable.
- Car/ Sedan: Cable routed into rear side door.
- SUV/ Van/ Hatchback: Cable routed into top of hatchback door.
- Truck: Cable routed into side door.
- NOTE: When going through car wash, remember to remove your antenna.
