Site Description

In North Houston, Texas, the owners of a 6,000 square feet home required 4G cellular signal inside the home or SOHO which as usually referred to, as the smallest of small businesses. It is a privately owned and operated business or individuals who are self-employed. Both partners frequently worked within the home that is beautiful and covered with lots of greenery outside. Problems with Cellular Connectivity

As both partners were work-at-home entrepreneurs, it was imperative that they were able to achieve reliable, quality 4G cellphone signal for voice and data connectivity in their home. However, combining a Radiant Barrier with a Stucco wall does not just block solar heat - Unfortunately, it also effectively prevents cellular signal from entering a building. With radio waves being unable to penetrate the building, the result was that this 6000 sq. ft. home was unable to achieve any 4G coverage.

  • What’s with these Texans and their big homes? 6,000 square feet is a lot of house. I saw that the residents are “work-at-home entrepreneurs” but unless they’re running a shop in their home, that just seems like a huge house. I’m not jealous. I just don’t understand why people feel the need for so much house. Glad they got their cell phone booster to fix their problem.

  • Don’t know how anyone could live in Texas. It just seems so hot and desolate (no offense to Texans, particularly those who are well-armed). When you add in the problems with cell service for distant areas, I just don’t understand the appeal. I suppose if you like it you have options like this study show with the mobile signal booster.

  • From what I remember in school, Texas is the second biggest state in the United States so I can see where they need more cell phone towers than usual in order to provide signals to everyone in the state. However, I keep reading these case studies on residences and businesses that need phone boosters and they mostly seem to be in Texas. Apparently, the Lone Star State needs to build more cell phone towers. Until they do, it sounds like people will have to rely on phone boosters to help narrow the gap.
