Some homes are laid out in a way where you know that cell phone signals are going to get weakened as they travel through a number of walls or have to deal with heavy shrubbery or trees nearby. Having to install extra interior antennas shouldn’t be seen as a racket if it’s the only way to get a strong signal throughout your home.
Rochelle Block: IF I BUY A CELL PHONE BOOSTER THAT HAS INSTALLATION INCLUDED, WILL THEY HELP ME WITH THE ANTENNAS? Well, the kit that comes with installation included has one interior antenna that they will install for you. If you need one down the road, you can always buy antenna add-on kit to add more antennas on your own by replicating what the installer did to install the first inside antenna.
Never thought about antennas when cell phone boosters are involved. Still, it makes sense since cell phone signals are radio waves so I imagine boosters can do better with antennas. If I buy a cell phone booster that has installation included, will they help me with the antennas?
What a racket. I can see people MAYBE needing a cell phone booster because they live somewhere remote or have problems getting a signal due to some other cause. Yet why would they need more antennas? It’s bad enough that cell phones don’t do their job right all the time but now you’re saying you buy a cell phone booster for your home and then you need another one? Again, what a racket!
When I first saw this, I thought the website was going to try and sell people another cell phone booster even if they have one already. That would be pretty scandalous. If this info is right, some cell phone boosters for the home need an extra antenna. Sure beats buying another booster.
