SureCall's wide band Omni-directional short fiberglass antenna with an average 2-4 dB gain over both main bandwidths and an F-Female type of connector. It has an exact range of ;698 - 960 MHz and 1700 - 2700 MHz.
The Gain on 698-960 MHz bandwidth is 2 to 3 dBi. The Gain on 1700 to 2700 MHz bandwidth is 3-4 dBi. It is shipped with a mounting kit for convenience purposes while mounting. It has an impedance of 75 Ohm. Being Omni-directional it easily collects signals from various cell towers in the process boosting different carrier’s signals.
SureCall SC289W or CM289W, which comes with a mounting kit is a roof or wall mount antenna best for marine, RV or urban downtown installations. Fibreglass built, the casing covers such systems as WLAN, 4G, 3G and 2G for LTE, AWS, PCS and Cellular frequencies.
This antenna is also omni-directional, a property that gives it the ability to collect signals generally from different sides; you needn’t point it to any particular tower to work. Antenna's range stands at about 50 miles from an unobstructed tower. Apart from the antenna, other parts that come with it include mounting equipment for a wall or horizontal flat surface.
For best results mount it upright. SureCall SC289-W or Cellphone-Mate CM289-W is compatible with a number of cables and amplifiers from SureCall, such as 4G boosters, RV boosters, accelerator kits, SOHO series of boosters, low coax cables as well as all in-building series of amplifiers on 75 Ohm system. It is very easy to install, full band and weather resistantant in its outside use with F-Female connector type.
Surecall Omni Antenna with bandwidth frequency coverage of 698-2700 MHz is a ceiling or wall mount Omnidirectional Antenna with F-female termination. With 100 watts of power, full band omni-directional 75 ohm, this fiberglass antenna provides excellent signal boosting for cellular and wireless connectivity, providing 2 to 4 db Antenna Reception Gain. The antenna includes a mounting kit, and can be set on walls or roofs. It is ideal for downtown settings, RVs, or marine installations, where signal strength is already reasonable at 3+ bars.
The Omni-directional antenna gathers signal from all sides, and does not need to be pointed at a cellular tower. It is easy to install, and weather resistant. Connectivity begins here. OUTSIDE ANTENNA INSTALLATION OF CM289W OMNI ANTENNA:
Sure Call CM-289W/ SC-289W full-band antenna is an omni-directional outside antenna designed to cover 360° for 2G/ 3G/ 4G and WLAN systems for Cellular, PCS, AWS and LTE frequencies. It is a high gain outside antenna suited for places where the signal needs to be broadcast over a central area or space. This outside vertical mount antenna transmits and receives signal to cell phones up to 50 miles from a cell tower.
- Unscrew antenna from L-mounting bracket on antenna base with hands, or wrench if needed.
- Find corner of house with strongest cell signal. To measure your existing cell signal on an Apple iOS Smartphone, dial *3001#12345#*and press Call. In the top-left corner, a number appears instead of bars. For Android devices, you can download several apps to measure exact signal strength. Look up check real signal strength to find a cell signal measurement app.
- Using vertical plate of bracket, mark position of desired location.
- Unscrew nut, lock washer, regular on end of stucco screws (2) and remove them.
- Place vertical plate into desired location and tap the screws, head first, along with sleeve into ½” to ¾”stucco wall.
- In this order, place washer, lock washer and nut on each screw and tighten until secure. When tightening screw, sleeve will expand to secure plate.
- Screw antenna securely back onto horizontal plate.
- Hand tighten cable to one end of antenna connector and the other end of cable to signal booster connector marked OUTSIDE.
Note: If desired surface for installation plate is wood or concrete, wood or masonry screws for L-plate will have to be purchased separately.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Will this work with zBoost ZB 575?
Yes, it will work because ZB575 kit has 75 Ohm F connector output antenna impedance which matches that of this antenna.
Will this work to give me a stronger signal from the free WiFi my campground offers?

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.
Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:
Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
