Need more powerful exterior 50 Ohm directional antenna with up to 26 dBi Gain option? For extremely weak signal areas, consider unidirectional RF-Boost High Power Long Range Antenna to replace any 50 Ohm Yagi / LPDA or Omni antenna within your signal enhancing system. It is ultra wide-band and ultra directional parabolic metal grid antenna. It requires precise directional focusing using signal meter for max. add'l Gain of up to +26 dB.

Description

Product Description

Full Band Short Yagi Directional Antenna operates on 50 Ohm systems. This wide spectrum directional cell antenna is also more accurately called a log-periodic dipole array or LPDA antenna because it covers a wider frequency spectrum than traditional Yagi antennas.

Provides antenna reception Gain of 7.5 dB on 698 MHz to 806 MHz frequency, 8.5 dB on 806 MHz to 960 MHz frequency, and 10 dBi on 1710 MHz to 2700 MHz frequency. Purchase includes mounting kit as well. This shorter version of Yagi is also a directional antenna that is designed to be used in areas of weak cellular signal.

It is aimed directly at a cellular tower to provide the maximum connectivity. Antenna covers 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and WLAN systems, for full data coverage and access. It is weather resistant. It is easy to install. Once up and running, the Yagi short antenna gives you faster data speed, and improved cellular signal.

Wide band directional Yagi antenna is arguably one of the best antennas in terms of performance out there. With an impedance of 50 Ohm, the antenna is a high gain type, best for outdoors. Point it towards the cellular tower that is not only unobstructed but also the nearest. Do point it to the cell tower that belongs to the Carrier whose signals need to be boosted. This 3G and 4G antenna is created with the ability to cover diverse systems for the LTE, AWS, PCS and Cellular such as WLAN, 4G, 3G and 2G.

Summary:

  • Outside use.
  • Directional.
  • 7.5 dB to 10 dB Gain.
  • 2G, 3G, 4G, WLAN.
  • Full Band, Short Version Yagi.
  • Easy to install.
  • Includes mounting equipment.

These directional Yagi antennas are two of the best performing antennas on the market today. They are high gain outdoor antennas that should be pointed toward the nearest cellular tower. The 4G antenna is designed to cover 2G/ 3G/ 4G and WLAN systems for Cellular, PCS, AWS and LTE frequencies. This wide band or full band antenna is designed to work with wide-band or full-band in-building amplifiers for Cellular, PCS, and AWS bands.

Set Up & Installation Instructions.

Yagi antenna is a directional antenna. Directional antennas need to be pointed toward the nearest cellular tower for the best results. Yagi antenna includes mounting equipment (U-Bolts) to attach to a pole, 1.5 inch - 2 inch in diameter (pole not included).

1. Install U-bolt on pole.

2. Slide pipe clamp over U-Bolt, flat side away from pipe.

3. Slide antenna bracket onto U-Bolt in desired location.

4. Install flat washer, split lock washer and nut, tighten as appropriate.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
