Product Description

Panel Antenna Upgrade Kit | weBoost 304447 Wilson Electronics / WilsonPro.

Upgrade from desktop antenna that comes in weBoost Home 4G / Home Room 472120 (Canada 652120) and weBoost Connect RV 65 471203 (Canada 471203F) to more powerful and larger coverage providing 50 Ohm Panel antenna kit (304447).

The wall mount Panel antenna that comes with this antenna and cable kit is weBoost model number 311135. It offers up to +10.6 dB gain which is more than twice the desktop antenna provides (desktops antenna provides only up to 3.6 dB Gain).

Its dimensions are: 8 inches by 7 inches by 2 inches. Color-wise, it is white. It is a directional antenna. It is a wall mount antenna. This antenna upgrade kit has 20 feet long RG58 coaxial cable with N-Male to SMA-Male connector.

It covers all cellular frequencies on platforms 2G + 3G + 4G + LTE. It is made by weBoost's parent company, Wilson Electronics. It is known for its compact design, aesthetic elegance, and high performing operation.

It works on all available cellular signal bands. This antenna is the same one that is already included in several weBoost cell phone signal booster kits. It is vertically polarized meaning its electric field is perpendicular to the Earth's surface.

It can be used as a replacement or can also be used on other Wilson amplifiers or boosters made by other brand manufacturers that require 50 Ohm impedance for its interior antenna port. Purchase includes all mounting parts and accessories.

Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • How close would I have to have my phone to the large white square panel antenna (pn304447) vs the desktop antennas? I understand the small desktop type has 24 inches or less of coverage?

The coverage area distance from interior antenna will vary based on exterior signal strength.

However, when comparing the Panel antenna (304447) with Desktop antenna (311160), the Desktop antenna provides 1/4th dB Gain of the Panel antenna.

Therefore, where the omnidirectional Desktop antenna would generally provide coverage for people seated around the table when desktop antenna is placed in the center, the directional Panel antenna would cover all of the RV.

  • I have a WE-Boost #472120 with Desk top. I have a outside external dish on a (J) pole. It works decent in the living room but I would like to get better coverage in other rooms / porch, etc. Is there a way to add to my kit or upgrade for more coverage? We have Verizon and AT&T cells. I live in the rural part of Whitehall, Montana.

A Panel antenna offers higher output and larger coverage space so you can switch the desktop antenna with this reference Panel Antenna Upgrade Kit for your booster model, if you like. Doing so, should provide much larger cellular signal boosted spaces indoors.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
