T-Mobile Personal CellSpot 4G LTE Signal Booster version 1 can enhance cellular reception inside homes and office for up to 13,000 sq. ft. or 3000 square meters. It does not require Internet to work.

How does it work?

It needs aleast minimum signal strength (equiv. to 1 bar) in one spot of the house or apartment to amplify that signal throughout the home, or apartment. Placing the network unit there will provide network coverage to the rest of area up to 13,000 sq. ft.

What is the difference between Version Two and this Version One?

In comparison with T-Mobile CellSpot Version 2: This version one boosts band 4 but cannot boost T-Mobile band 2 which may be used in your area. Check with T-Mobile to make sure it is not used in your local area.

It cannot boost band 12 - Only T-Mobile CellSpot Version 2 and Cel-Fi T-Mobile DUO can cover bands 12, 4, 2. Check with T-Mobile to confirm which band is needed for coverage in your area to decide which one to buy.

V1 is not Bluetooth compatible. This means you cannot use the Cel-Fi WAVE app to help you monitor your system and optimize it.

This is definitely not interchangeable between carriers - Only the Cel-Fi Go-X and Cel-Fi Go-M are interchangeable across the carriers. This has to do with the firmware makeup of these different models.
