Description

Product Description

RV cell phone signal boosters listed are proven to work with all USA & Canadian Carriers simultaneously (except "exceptional" kit that works with all but only one at a time that is set using its carrier switching app). SignalBooster.com offers the best RV cell phone signal booster options for the money. They can be used in all type RVs including Class A Diesel Motorhome, Class A Gas Motorhome, Class C Motorhome, Fifth Wheel, Travel Trailer, Fold Down, Truck Camper, Expandables and Toy Haulers.

All kits are 5G compatible. They support 4G and 5G devices including MiFi hotspots, cellular data hubs and routers. The multiple choice drop-down menu provided above gives you the choice to select the best 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G E wireless coverage boosting system to cover your recreational vehicle in weak signal areas. R V coverage from around interior antenna can range from 1 ft., 10 ft., or entire RV depending upon the strength of signal outside, and the power of the RV cellular phone booster system chosen. Whether for personal or for work use, vehicle cellular boosters, amplifiers, repeaters or range extenders increase reception the same for all type vehicles.

All kits are user friendly and come with fairly easy step by step installation instructions. The prices shown are only for equipment so please contact us for installation cost if you need us to install it for you professionally. If within budget, we can schedule time-frame, and designate location for installation. When installed and used as recommended, all except the "exceptional value kit" improves RV cell reception for multiple service provider networks including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint - at the same time.

How do RV cell phone signal boosters work?

Cellular signal booster or amplifier kits consist of 3 main parts - Exterior antenna, signal amplifier, and interior antenna:

  1. An exterior RV roof antenna transmits signals from nearest cell towers into the RV via coaxial cable.
  2. The mobile signal amplifier amplifies or repeats those signals to multiply them many times over and then transmit them to interior RV antenna via coax cable provided.
  3. Finally, that inside antenna distributes the strong wireless signals within interior of RV to enhance cellphone reception considerably to enable fast 3G, 4G LTE, 5G E Internet and clear mobile phone conversations.

An important note: Since signal boosters require existing signal outside which they use to amplify and distribute within a RV, the size of boosted coverage area near interior antenna will depend to great extent by the strength of signal available for donor (outside) antenna.

Therefore, amount of actual coverage cannot be predicted with certainty. This is the reason why you will see that each booster kit description states, "up to" a specific amount of square footage. No booster can guarantee an exact amount of coverage it can provide. The stated coverage area in square footage, is merely an estimation.

Simple 3-Step Installation Process:

Installation is fairly easy with included step by step instructions. A brief install overview is as follows: 1) Place exterior antenna on roof of RV or high up on the ladder where there will be maximum signal strength. 2) Place interior antenna where signal is needed or lacking for convenient usage within RV. 3) Place signal amplifier main unit where you can connect it to both external and internal antennas with provided coaxial cables. Set-up complete.

No synchronization or password needed:

Unlike connecting to wifi Internet hotspot or a Bluetooth connection for wireless earphones, speaker or headset, there's no need to sync cell phone to take advantage of our signal booster system. For Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity, you need to find the correct Wifi network or Bluetooth device and log in to connect by entering the correct password, if required. If you don't know the required password, you can’t connect or synchronize. And if you get a new cellular phone, you have to log in again to that wireless network or synch again with your Bluetooth devices.

However, that is not the case with our cell phone signal boosters. No pairing of devices required. No logging in to connect. No need to do anything. It just works. Our cell phone booster systems are completely transparent. They work with existing signal, boosting from the tower to your mobile phone and back again. This creates an area of strong, reliable coverage in your RV. And that boosted signal works for any mobile device within range of interior antenna - automatically. No login credentials, and no password required.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • I’m in an aluminum sided rv under a meta roof in a low lying area next to a 50+ acre body of water. Need cellular, Wi-Fi, and broadcast / antenna / HDTV / (HDMI?) - any and all signal boost. Primarily cell. Maybe even something I could take with me in car?

To boost cell reception in your parked RV, we recommend Stationary RV Cell Signal Booster (not allowed to be used per FCC regulations when vehicle is moving because it is too powerful). Please read details at preceding link why we think that this would be your best bet. Basically it offers a directional antenna which captures signal from farther away when pointed to nearest cell tower and it offers 25 ft. telescoping pole to clear all obstacles to nearest cell tower for best reception.

If you need to improve cell reception in a moving RV, we recommend Exceptional Value RV Cell Phone Booster for best cell reception on the go. It offers highest Gain boost of up to 65 dB when in motion while capturing signals from all directions in 360 degrees fashion. This is something you can also transport and take in your car by simply buying a smaller exterior magnet mount antenna if you feel the tall trucker antenna would be too big for your car.

To boost Wi-Fi reception, we recommend Long Range Wi-Fi Repeater. Please read details at preceding link why this would be your best bet. Basically offers most powerful option to enhance weak wifi signal.

To boost TV reception, we recommend High Gain 28 dB TV Antenna. Please read details at preceding link why this is a good and easy to implement option at very low cost to enhance weak TV signal.

  • I have Visible and live out of an RV. I'm not sure visible is approving cell boosters. Do you know anything about that? And what kind of cost effective solution might work for me? Thanks.

As far as we know all carriers approve cell boosters. From research we did on Google, we could not figure out whether Visible is owned by Verizon or whether it is Verizon's MVNO. It most likely seems to be the latter (MVNO). Anyway, we do not see any reason why they would not approve signal boosters. Any RV cell booster merely helps users enjoy their service in areas where signal gets weak such as inside RV in remote areas. You can pick any based on the cost and features stated at preceding link. Prior to purchase, please contact Visible to find out how to register your booster with them. If Visible does not have signal booster registration page, we would suggest calling Verizon to explain situation and they may be able to help. We know for a fact that Verizon has a signal booster registration page. Thank you.

  • What is the range of the re-broadcasted signal from these units, and is the re-broadcast power adjustable? I am often outside walking around, sitting at a picnic table, etc. while using the phone. I am often on Zoom calls, and on the company VPN. I am also considering making this unit double duty by using it for both the RV and as a home unit when not on the road.

Sorry, signal boosters are designed for boosting cell coverage inside only. They will not provide measuarble improvement outside the RV. Rebroadcast power is not adjustable - it will transmit strongest to cell devices closest to interior antenna, and least to cell devices farthest from interior antenna. Yes, you can legally use these inside home too, if you can somehow install properly with its exterior antenna outside the home.

  • Recently installed signal booster on my RV. Would it affect performance if I painted outdoor antenna flat black?

Yes, you can certainly paint your antenna any color or with any type of paint that you like just as long as the paint does not have metal particles in it. Metallic paint will disrupt or alter the transmit characteristics of antennas. This is due to metal flakes in paint that deflect the signals ever so slightly but inappropriately preventing antenna from performing as it is designed to perform. Painting white antenna black for example with non-metal paint will have no impact on its performance.

  • We just purchased an RV and my husband would like to be able to work from it. We did a trial run with our cell phone as a Hotspot and even purchased a Verizon Mifi hotspot at an RV park near our home... he needs to us the company's modem because of security issues. He works 36 hours a week. We also have several Zoom or Google duo conference meetings a week, a little Roku and Sirius satellite radio. Needless to say, we're experiencing serious unstable internet issues, and using up the 30GB of the Mifi at a fast pace.... What do we need to do to make this work? We will rarely do boondocking, will be mainly in RV Parks.

Any of the reference RV cell signal boosters will work for your application. As is usually the case, the higher the cost, the more the power it provides. The stationary one that costs $649.99 offers up to 65dB Gain so it is one of the most powerful but can only be turned on when parked and requires exterior antenna installation each time you park at a place (must be pointed towards nearest cell tower using an app or signal meter purchased separately). The last in the drop-down menu list, the GO M RV can be used on the go with up to 65dB Gain and can also be programmed to work in stationary mode for up to 100dB Gain by using its free app (it is permanently installed so no re-installation of exterior antenna required, ever).

  • I want to know if you can use a booster in a camper with a jet pack?

Yes, you most certainly can. This is a wireless cellular booster so it enhances cell reception of all mobile devices such as Jet Pack, Tablet Computer, Smart Phones, etc. within its interior antenna coverage boost range.

  • The assumption with RV users is they want a signal boost on the go, on the road. That is not the case with us and I would guess many are like us. What we want is an antenna that once we get to our camp site for 4 to 21 days allows us to EASILY grab a weak signal and amplify it. Broadcast of that signal grabbed miraculously by the outdoor antenna implies we want an EASILY optimized omni-directional antenna. Not something that takes a Phd to find the best direction to point in for our carrier at this "weeks" temporary home site. Distributing that signal inside the RV is the relatively easy part with some form of hotspot and repeater technology. What do you recommend? Our strategy is to have service from Tmobile and Verizon to maximize the probability that each temporary site we set up has at least 1 bar.

Yes, we understand your frustration with the difficulty of setting up the cell signal booster kit after you park your RV for just a few days or weeks. What you need requires two separate purchases:

    1. Stationary RV cell phone signal booster kit (most powerful option).
    2. 75 Ohm Omni antenna or 75 Ohm Omni Plus antenna ("Omni PLUS" antenna provides slightly higher Gain).

Since the complete kit includes only a Yagi uni-directional antenna that must be pointed to the nearest cell tower, replacing it with an Omni multi-directional antenna will help you get set-up in no time with zero optimation required - Simply mount it as high as possible on included 6 ft. to 25 ft. adjustable telescoping pole.

This signal enhancement system boosts cell signals from all cellular provider networks simultaneously.

We offer 60 days satisfaction guarantee for full refund of the cost of kit and antenna, in rare event it does not work for you, or if you find out that it does not fully meet your needs and requirements.

  • I am living in an RV. Is this product right for me? Which indoor booster works best? I am currently using my iPhone using Verizon as a HotSpot. I need to work everyday from my RV. I need WiFi. Please let me know the answers to these questions, if possible. Thanks, MC.

A stationary RV cell signal booster would give you the maximum strength cellular signal boost: https://www.signalbooster.com/products/rv-cell-phone-signal-booster-usa?variant=22735911419989

Assuming you're referring to Verizon Wireless "mobile" service, it provides the maximum Gain increase with highest uplink and downlink power.

In fact, it improves reception for all carrier networks so you can freely change your service provider in future and this RV cell booster will still work to improve reception for your new carrier inside your RV, just the same.  Thank you.

  • If I have no service at all on my phone, will this help? I have T-mobil and seems most people that have service use Verizon.

Yes, this should help. It amplifies available signal up to 30 times to provide usable signal so you can make / receive calls and use Internet using your T-Mobile service carrier's network. We offer 60 days money back guarantee, if not fully satisfied.

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
