    • Was is the cost for the Cel-Fi Go Red Public Safety FirstNet Signal Booster DAS Kit

      Please contact us for site survey and accurate pricing because equipment and installation cost will vary greatly based on your location and current indoor and outdoor coverage signal strength which will dictate # of signal amplifier units and # of indoor antennas that will be required to meet required certification standards.

      Just to give you a very rough estimate, an installation system design and installation would be $1000 if equipment cost is $1500 which includes only a single amplifier unit with required inside and outside antennas plus cables, connectors, surge protector, grounding and peripherals.

      Once again, please note that installation per manufacturers specifications of the cellular booster system purchased from a third party such as Cel-Fi requires a site survey to determine the number of signal amplifiers required, number of antennas required, length of cabling required, etc. A lot also depends on how big is the building? Is it just one level, two storey, 10 floors, or more?   Few other basic variables include whether standard "pole mount" would suffice or any other mount will be required at an additional cost?   If you have purchased the optional cellular grounding block, we will ground the system with up to #14 gauge wire to the closest point of either an existing ground rod or a metal cold water pipe with up to 50 feet of ground wire.     Additional lengths of ground wire if required will be quoted per foot. If we have to provide a new ground rod there will be an additional charge. Running of the wire that is included in the purchased kit to hook up the external "donor" antenna to the booster amplifier, and from the booster amplifier to the indoor antenna is included but any other length wire if required or plenum wire will be an additional cost.   There will be discussion of the location of the outdoor antenna, booster amplifier and indoor antenna(s) for pre-approval. Once mounted, relocation will be an extra charge.

      As you can see, there're many variables involved and therefore it is difficult to give you an accurate cost without inspecting the location and performing a site survey to see what is in place and what will be required to ensure full indoor coverage and guarantee your premise will pass inspection.

    Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles of your home / building. Please check outside signal level in decibels before ordering. If it is too weak, submit request for cell coverage solution assessment.
