Nextivity Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 (Part 20) is in-building enterprise cellular booster system that improves coverage of all four major carrier networks in USA including bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 13, and 25. It is a hybrid active DAS that solves coverage issues for voice and data.
The Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 is a powerful in-building Active Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Hybrid that has been designed specifically to resolve the issues of weak cellular signal in middleprise buildings; meaning those customers who are big enough to finance enhanced in-building wireless but not big enough to appeal to major carriers to invest in in-building wireless.
Greater Coverage Area.
The CelFi QUATRA-4000 is an enterprise-level signal boosting system that boosts LTE, 4G, and 3G data and voice, on up to four bands from all four major operators, simultaneously. Compared to other boosters, this boosting solution delivers a signal up to 1,000 times more powerful, boosting signal up to +100 dB with a variation of up to +30 dB. While delivering a strong signal, the QUATRA4000 delivers a larger coverage footprint in situations where the incoming signal is poor, thus ensuring that inside antennas receive the strongest possible signal.
Instead of using analog coaxial cables causing cellular signal degradation over long distances, this system uses Cat5e cables and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), which means longer cable runs and digitally transmitted signal to deliver better quality signal.
Cat5e cable runs up to 325 feet per Coverage Unit (the system's remote unit responsible for rebroadcasting the donor signal).

About the Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 Cellular Signal Boosting System.
This multi-carrier boosting system is an in-building business cellular boosting system. Approved and specifically to be used on the US's four main carrier networks, it is an Active DAS Hybrid boosting solution. It is the perfect solution for middleprise buildings, delivering coverage for multiple carriers in buildings with area as large as 500,000 ft² from a single system.
Designed and constructed based on Cel-Fi technology, this all-digital cell signal enhancement system is the only boosting solution available on today's market that is capable of supporting up to 100 dB of gain. Using Nextivity’s 4th generation Intelliboost chipset technology, each NU (Network Unit) is capable of supporting up to six CU (Coverage Units). One of the features of this boosting solution is that it has a cellular modem built-in to support the latest Cel-Fi WAVE PRO Platform, while another first is that it is the only integrated product on today's market that is capable of relaying Time Division Duplex (TDD) LTE bands.
Another bonus with the Nextivity Cel-Fi QUATRA 4K is that it can be tethered to the small cells of carriers or deployed off air; alternatively, a multicarrier Supercell (a large single cell) can be created by incorporating it with the small cell equipment of carriers and operating it in small cell distributed mode. From the aspect of planning and deployment, Supercells are essentially uncomplicated. They are certainly a lot more resilient than individual small cells when it comes to performance degradation and interference issues. Supercells deliver reliable and consistent access to capabilities introduced by small cells to boost cellular signal coverage in densely populated or larger areas.
Cel-Fi QUATRA 4K is a Boon to Middleprise Consumers.
The Cel-Fi QUATRA-4K has come at just the right time for middleprise consumers across a number of industries. Today, these consumers can choose from our multicarrier, dual, or single solutions, subject to each person's specific requirements. By introducing this innovative system, Nextivity is supporting a largely forgotten market by delivering a full range of signal coverage options; at the same time removing the time, complexities, and costs involved with more common DAS boosting solutions.
Another bonus with the QUATRA4K is that, like earlier versions, this cellular signal boosting solution can be up and running within weeks, rather than months. When compared to DAS systems that are more expensive and can take anywhere between 1 and 2 years to deploy, the QUATRA 4000 comes at a much lower installed cost per square foot. This is achieved by leveraging Power-over-Ethernet (POE) and RF-over-Ethernet (RFoE), and removing unnecessary complexities.
All Customers Can Now Enjoy Uninterrupted Indoor Coverage.
Nextivity’s Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 delivers maximum power levels by offering independent gain to each carrier signal; unlike similar products where a boosted single value is offered to the strongest input signal only. The result is that it is not only users whose carrier delivers the stronger signal who get to enjoy reliable and uninterrupted indoor coverage, it means that subscribers from all networks can now experience reliable coverage in shopping malls, schools, hospitals, office buildings, manufacturing facilities and other indoor locations.
While boosting LTE, 4G, and 3G data and voice simultaneously on up to four bands from four operators, this cell phone signal booster system is a powerful in-building cellular Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that is specifically suited to precise and detailed remote monitoring of the equipment as well as the actual wireless environment being served by the equipment with Cel-Fi WAVE PRO. This is an easy to install, cost-effective, powerful Active DAS Hybrid boosting system, designed specifically to serve the middleprise sector. This booster uses CAT5e cabling for Power-over-Ethernet and RF. Each booster system includes one Network Unit and six Coverage Units, and can cover an area up to 70,000 ft².
How The Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 Signal Boosting System Works.
The Cel-Fi 4000 Quatra is a hybrid boosting solution that operates by capturing cellular signals from external macro networks, boosting those signals, then using the coverage units to relay their signal indoors. This boosting solution is self-optimizing and self-configuring and is a combination of both Smart Booster and Active DAS. Installation is the easiest in its class using the Cel-Fi WAVE App Portal.

There are currently two versions available of the Nextivity QUATRA 4000. The first is the regular QUATRA 4000 which delivers coverage up to 75,000 ft² (this purchase). The second is the industrial version, the Nextivity Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000i, and it is this booster that also supports Band 41 coverage.
The following are significant improvements that have been made to the CelFi QUATRA 4000 signal boosting system:
- This boosting system now supports all four major carrier networks simultaneously - Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT-T.
- Users now achieve more downlink power and wider coverage. To maximize the coverage they support, Coverage Units for the QUATRA 4000 have enhanced downlink power. This model has increased the coverage area by 50% because it includes 6 CUs, whereas previous versions only included 4.
- This is the first QUATRA boosting system that supports small cells being overlaid, thus increasing coverage options with all four carriers.
- A number of installer friendly changes have been made to ensure that set-up for integrators is straightforward. The QUATRA 4000 now uses N-type connectors. If there's no ethernet connection, there's a built-in SIM card slot in the internal modem for connectivity. The single N-Type connector in the Coverage Unit perfectly suits a passive antenna design. Previous generations used one coaxial input per band, often causing signal issues with two carriers sharing the same band; whereas coaxial inputs with the Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 are now one per carrier.
- The Cel-Fi QUATRA 4000 signal boosting system is currently the only signal boosting system to support AT&T's Band 41.
- A separate power supply is not required for the Coverage Units because coverage is provided through Power-over-Ethernet. There's no need for administrator intervention because gain control in the Network Unit always ensures top coverage and maximum gain in changing RF environments.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Please check outside signal level in decibels before ordering. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.
If it is too weak, submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
Please note: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
