Product Description

SureCall Cell Phone Signal Booster Installer Site Survey Kit includes RF Signal Meter or Spectrum Analyzer with antenna cable, Remote Monitoring Device, Unidirectional Yagi Antenna, and J-Pipe Mount Pole (Antenna Mounting Pipe) with mounting assembly. Designed, assembled and tested in USA.

Included in this kit is everything you need to perform a site survey for the purpose of planning an installation. This antenna installer kit is a great value bundle for the price because it contains all of the following:

RF Signal Meter / Spectrum Analyzer & Antenna Cable.

A vital tool designed for the use of installers to ensure a successful and efficient installation, the Spectrum Analyzer or Signal Meter measures the levels of RF signals for all mobile networks including cellular frequencies, PCS, AWS on 2G, 3G and 4G LTE platforms. The whip antenna can be effectively used with the meter or analyzer to gain a quick assessment of signal levels indoors, as well as identifying map coverage issues and dead zones indoors. An optimal placement location of outdoor antennas can be measured using maximum signal levels outdoors. In addition, peak antenna alignment can be identified by directly connecting the unidirectional antenna (or omnidirectional antenna) to the meter with the cable (included).

Sentry Remote Monitoring Device.

A revolutionary advancement in the management of signal boosting, the Sentry assists in the ongoing management, optimization, and initial installation of compatible boosters. During the installation process, Sentry is the remote monitoring system that provides a host of tools which help optimize the performance of the booster. It can be managed off-site using its compatible Android or iPhone app, or on-site with a desktop interface. It can advise users of changes in status by way of email alerts.

Yagi Antenna.

Since outgoing antennas are designed for outdoor mounting, it makes sense that an outdoor antenna should be mounted in an area where it can receive the strongest, clearest signal directly from the cell tower. This Yagi antenna is unidirectional and can be aimed in the direction of the strongest signal while testing the signal strength with antenna cable connected to signa meter.

J-Mount Pipe

When installing a cell phone signal booster within a building, a J-bar mounting pole for outdoor antennas can be an invaluable installation tool. This particular J-bar is 20 inches in height with a 1-inch diameter. It is fully adjustable. Constructed of tough aluminium, the J-bar universal mounting pipe is designed to withstand even the strongest winds. Attaching to any flat surface such as a deck rail, the side of a house, fascia, or a roof, this bracket allows for optimal signal strengths by assisting with a high exterior antenna installation.

Important notes about Spectrum Analyzer & Monitoring Tool

The RF Signal Meter has all the functionality, features, and durability that professional installers require but without carrying the price tag of similar high-end units. A professional level five band detector, this signal meter measures the local cellular RF signal, PCS, AWS, and 4G LTE for every major carrier within North America. Featuring three handy display modes, the signal meter supplies a one-touch digital readout of block power, bands, or frequency. Form a solid understanding of where an antenna should be placed by using this signal meter to uncover areas of low signal and dead zones while planning an installation or performing a site survey. Sentry is compatible with all SureCall Fusion-5s and Fusion-5x cellular enhancing products.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Do you have any suggestions on how we can find out where the nearest Verizon tower is located? I am sure we can do an internet search but you may of a better way. I already have the yagi antenna and the pole so don't need those items.

Since they work in realtime, pivoting Yagi antenna in 45 degrees or preferably lesser increments in each direction and testing inside signal strength of relevant Carrier using field test mode on your smartphone each time works well for most. A more efficient method would be to use a signal meter which can also detect other carrier signals if you have multiple phones in your household using different carrier services.

  • We came across the SC-Survey kit and noticed it had the sentry unit included. We don't need the sentry unit at this point, so we wondered if we can purchase this kit without one?

We see your perspective. You do not need the Sentry so why pay full price when you're not going to use it. Please use the promo discount coupon code "NOSENTRY" at the checkout and it will deduct $50 off the total cost price, at the checkout. You will not be sent the Sentry remote monitoring unit, but you will be sent the rest of items included in this package bundle. Thank you.

  • Is the analyzer that comes with the installer site survey kit tunable to any frequency? Need to use it for public safety signal strength at freqs + 800. Can it do that?

This meter is tuned to specific frequencies. Please see the user manual at link below so you can have a better idea of how it works. Public safety is usually a different range that this meter does not cover.

    The Band Select button will select between downlink bands. Band Designation Frequency Range (MHz) LTE-AT&T 737 728 ~ 746 LTE-VERIZON 751 746 ~ 757 CELLULAR 800 869 ~ 894 PCS 1900 1930 ~ 1995 AWS 2100 2110 ~ 2155.

We carry a public safey signal measurement tool that covers all the public safety band frequencies. Here's the link to it:

If you do not wish to invest in purchasing a unit, we offer public safety coverage testing service nationwide for a one-time cost for travel and testing appointment. Here's how you can schedule the survey and a test that will provide you with complete reports you would need to present to Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ):

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
