SureCall Fusion5X 2.0 Building 3G 4G LTE Signal Booster for up to 20k Ft².
SureCall Fusion5X / Fusion 5X 2.0 is a higher performance signal booster kit. It is a complete home/ office cell phone signal booster kit for whole home or office building or floor up to 20,000 sq. ft. SureCall Fusion5X 2.0 Voice, 3G, 4G, LTE Home & Building signal booster kit is an ideal solution for large residences and mid-sized buildings. Designed, assembled and tested in USA.
SureCall Fusion 5X 2.0 is the newer version of Fusion 5X signal booster kit. The main functionality difference between the original Fusion5X and the 2.0 is that the 2.0 has more downlink power. Having more downlink power means that when the outside signal is strong, the Fusion5X 2.0 will be able to cover a larger area than the 1.0.
A downlink power comparison between the Fusion5X 2.0 and two leading competitive boosters shows that Fusion5X 2.0 has more DP than the Pro 70 in all 5 bands and the Pro 1000 in 3 out of 5 bands.
Up to 20000 sq. ft. cellular boosted coverage Fusion5X 2.0 MSRP: $1399 (great value proposition over the more expensive / under-performing competitors). SureCall IQ ensures Fusion5X 2.0 will not overpower or shut down due to a strong outside signal. The single indoor antenna kits come with 100’ of 400 cable, for the inside run, instead of 75’ in the 1.0. Additional cable loss is needed to stay within the power limits set by the FCC.

Which type of interior antenna(s) to choose?
Dome internal antennas are suggested when coverage needed inside the home or building is in a circular fashion as in an elliptical, round dome shaped, or a square room. Therefore, in-building omnidirectional dome antennas are best suited for a central location. They radiate in a linear horizontal fashion and are best for single floor level boosting. See diagram image of installation sketch provided showing 4 dome antennas installed.
Panel internal antennas are suggested when coverage needed inside the home or building is across long rectangular spaces like a corridor and/or multi levels. For covering long rectangular spaces, the panel antenna can be mounted on the wall facing the length such long narrow spaces. For covering multiple floors, the panel directional antenna can be mounted on the ceiling facing downwards so it boosts reception to the spaces on the floors below as well. In-building unidirectional panel antennas allow for optimum reception to targeted areas. See diagram image of installation sketch provided showing 4 panel antennas installed.
Signals being able to penetrate walls depends on the strength of incoming signal to the booster and the construction material of the walls.
Which type of exterior antenna to choose?
Omni external antenna (360 degree beam-width) is best used used when the outside signal strength is -85 dBm or stronger. It catches signal from all cell towers of all cell carriers from all directions but it is not as powerful as the Yagi antenna. Therefore, it is ideally used in places with existing good to strong cell phone signal signal strength.
Yagi external antenna (60 degree beam-width) is best used when the outside signal strength is -86 dBm or weaker. It catches signal from one specific direction where it is pointed to. It focuses signal attraction from a particular cell tower much farther away than omni antenna can attract. Therefore, it is ideally used in places with existing weak cell phone signal signal strength.
The closer the signal is to 0, the stronger the signal. For example -75 dBM is a stronger signal than -85 dBM.
Should I choose kit with one or four interior antennae?
Booster kits with multiple indoor antennas are best used to increase coverage on multiple floor levels, expansive single story and/or densely constructed buildings. i.e. internal concrete walls.
SureCall Fusion 5X 2.0 boosts 2G, 3G, 4G LTE indoor cell signal booster and is are compatible with all U.S.A. and Canada wireless service providers. If ordering to be shipped to Canada, Canadian version of this kit will be shipped.

This SureCall booster supports 4G and 5G devices.
SureCall signal boosters are 5G compatible, which means they support both 4G and 5G devices. All SureCall's current vehicle and home boosters amplify any modulation (4G, 5G) that operates on the five most common up and down cellular frequencies bands. This makes SureCall current signal boosters compatible with 5G devices as carriers begin to transmit 5G signals over the existing frequency bands and towers.
Cables incur signal loss. Therefore, shorter the cables, the better the performance. While this kit may include LMR400 equivalent 100 ft. exterior antenna cable, and same type 75 ft. cable for each interior antenna (interchangeable), you can buy different size cable(s) as needed for tight installation to minimize signal loss. Buy either from the list of Black Type 400 cables or White Type 400 cables (must be purchased separately).
Although this purchase has all the components required to install the system, the following accessories may make the installation easier and help protect the system in the future:
- J-Bar Pole Mount For Outdoor Antennas: Adjustable 20" J-bar outdoor antenna mounting pole is a universal mounting pipe that allows you to position your exterior antenna higher for optimal reception. The bracket attaches to any flat surface including a roof, fascia, side of house, or deck rail.
- Lightning Surge Protector (50 Ohm): In-Line Surge Arrestor with connectors for SC-400 coaxial cables protects signal booster from damaging electrical surges. Or choose aftermarket 50 Ohm surge protector.
- Grounding kit helps ground the surge protector to disperse lightning surge.
Questions & Answers
QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
I have identified this home signal booster unit model # SC-Fusion5X2-OD that I would like to buy. However, I would like to protect the system from lightning strikes that have been occurring in my area quite frequently (can global warming cause this?). Anyway, I just want to know the model number of the lighting surge arrestor to purchase for that system. It looks like I have an N connector on one side of the cabling with this kit and a F style connection on the other side. So I would need a lightning arrester that has one of each connector, I think.
The 50 Ohm lightning surge protector part model number SC-LP is for any SureCall Fusion 5x signal booster kit. Both lightning arrestor's sides have N-female connectors so you can connect one side to the coax cable going into the building or home/office. You will need a N-male to N-male connector (SC-CN-12), in order to connect its other side to exterior antenna pigtail.
We have a construction project in an area that is on the "fringe" of cell service area. We get decent voice service but data is slow and unreliable. Some of us have Verizon and some have ATT... varies with both. We have two site construction trailers which have metal siding. I have approx. -104 db outside the trailer. I'm thinking about an Omni outside and a dome in each trailer. The trailers are close together, so it wouldn't be a very long coax run. I have been looking at the Wilson Pro 70 Plus and the Fusion 5X 2.0. While the Fusion costs more, it appears to have more downlink. However, I'm not sure I have been able to find an "apples-to-apples" comparison relative to the various frequencies, etc. I'm most concerned with data connectivity for "mifi" type devices, and voice is secondary given that it is okay without a booster. What are the things I need to be aware of and consider in the determination of which system to choose? Am I going overkill and could get the same outcome with less expensive unit?
Yes, your judgement is correct - SureCall Fusion5x 2.0 offers the best value considering the weak signal status in area.
While the chart at link below does not show "Wilson Pro 70 Plus" downlink output power data, it offers maximum 12 dBm which is better than, but still very close to, Wilson Pro 70.
In comparison, SureCall Fusion 5x 2.0 offers better uplink and downlink output power for high speed consistent wireless data transfer as well as incorporates a unique Double Power Technology that provides better signal "quality" by reducing "noise". That is essential for faster wireless data transfers.

I am looking for something to get reception in the mountains near cedar city, Utah. Currently there is no reception, but for reference the location is about 10 miles from the city. Is there a product you can recommend that might work?
Thanks for your interest. For a signal booster to work, there needs to be atleast a bare minimum signal to make a call outside and maintain the call consistently.
Are you able to do that? If so, how large of a building do you have? Please contact us, we look forward to working with you.
Does this work for all carriers. Specifically for Sprint and Verizon?
Yes, it works for all carriers simultaneously, including Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
I have the SureCall CM2020 - it appears to have stopped working and I'd like to replace it will an update 4G LTE unit. I have all of the wiring in place can I just by the amplifier? If so which would I be happy with for a 22,000 sq ft metal building.
Sorry, per new FCC regulations we cannot sell any cellular amplifier base unit on its own. It must be purchased as a complete kit. This Fusion 5X kit may suffice for covering only up to 20,000 sq. ft. if you have very strong outside signals. If you need to cover more square footage and if the signals outside are not strong enough, you may have to go with the most powerful unit SureCall offers which is the Force5 2.0.

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.
Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:
Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.
Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.
If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.
For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
