Home/ Office Signal Amplifier Kit with UPC 858507006403. SKU SC-Poly-DT-O-Kit (USA English Instructions) features:

  • Simplified Setup with Combined Booster and Indoor Antenna.
  • Boosts Voice, Text and 4G LTE Signals for All US American Cell Carriers.
  • Omni-Directional Outdoor Antenna Captures Signal from All Directions.

Simplified Indoor Setup:

Flare is the first cell phone signal booster with a combined indoor antenna and signal booster, simplifying setup and increasing signal strength for multiple simultaneous users on all U.S. American cell carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Flare's revolutionary design features a built-in indoor omni-directional antenna that increases signal strength for voice, text and 5G E, 4G LTE data in 1-2 rooms of a home or office, up to 2,500 sq ft. The attractive one-piece base unit is designed to be placed on an open tabletop or shelf for clearer and more reliable voice and data performance in any room.

How it works:

Signal is delivered to the Flare booster with the included omni-directional outdoor antenna and 50 feet of low-loss RG-6 cable. The outdoor antenna captures signal from the cell tower and then SureCall’s award-winning, patented all-carrier booster amplifies it and re-broadcasts the enhanced signal coverage to all mobile devices within range.

Kit Includes Following:

Flare indoor booster, omni-directional outdoor antenna (SC-289W), 50 feet of RG-6 coax cable and power supply.

Cable length customization.

For most practical purposes, included cable length will suffice for installation. However, in rare situations a longer cable may be needed due to distance between antenna, and desktop signal amplifier unit. Secondly, in some cases where signal that exterior antenna can capture happens to be very weak to provide enough interior improved coverage space, a customized shorter cable will be best to minimize signal loss. The reason for this is that cables incur signal loss so longer the cable, more the loss of signal incurred. Therefore, see below for optional cable purchase suggestions to facilitate installation and/or better performance.

Optional cable purchase (not required):

If needed, a different size RG-6 cable with F-Male connectors can be purchased separately. For even better performance, select from low loss RG11 cables to upgrade outside antenna cable (must be bought separately). System does not require inside cable because outside antenna directly connects to the 2 in 1 booster and interior antenna built into one broadcast unit.

Available Accessories.

Although the SureCall Flare Signal Booster Kit includes all the components required to install the system, the following accessories may make the installation easier and help protect the system in the future:

  • J-Bar Pole Mount For Outdoor Antennas: Adjustable 20" J-bar outdoor antenna mounting pole is a universal mounting pipe that allows you to position your exterior antenna higher for optimal reception. The bracket attaches to any flat surface including a roof, fascia, side of house, or deck rail (SC-MOUNT-JBAR).
  • Lightning Surge Protector (75 Ohm) for SC-RG6 and SC-RG11 coaxial cables: In-Line Surge Arrestor With F-Female and F-Male connectors for SC-RG6 and SC-RG11 coaxial cables protects signal booster from damaging electrical surges (SC-LP-75). Or choose aftermarket 75 Ohm surge protector.
  • Grounding kit helps ground the surge protector to disperse lightning surge.
  • Need longer cable run? Get 50 Feet Premium Low-Loss 75 Ohm RG-11 coaxial cable with F-Male connectors (SC-RG11-50).*
  • Need even longer cable run? 100 Feet Premium Low-Loss 75 Ohm RG-11 coaxial cable with F-Male connectors (SC-RG11-100).*

*Upgrading from included RG-6 cables to lower loss RG-11 cables may be helpful because longer the cable, higher the signal loss. For every 100 feet, the signal loss is approx. -4dB on low frequencies and approx. -6dB on high frequencies. Therefore, it is best to use shortest runs possible. If using longer runs, outside signal strength should be good to support the Gain loss. Please contact us if you need assiatamce regarding your situation.

This SureCall booster supports 4G and 5G devices.

SureCall signal boosters are 5G compatible, which means they support both 4G and 5G devices. All SureCall's current vehicle and home boosters amplify any modulation (4G, 5G) that operates on the five most common up and down cellular frequencies bands. This makes SureCall current signal boosters compatible with 5G devices as carriers begin to transmit 5G signals over the existing frequency bands and towers.

Questions & Answers

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Will this work in canada?

Yes, it will work in Canada for all carriers such as Rogers, Telus, Bell and their MVNOs or subsidiaries such as Fido, Koodo, and Virgin Mobile.

  • how do i find which direction to point the out door antenna.

Since exterior antenna is omnidirectional, it does not have to be pointed towards any particular direction. It does have to be installed vertically so it can absorb signals from 360 degress (all directions).

  • Very poor cell reception in home. I was thinking Sure all Flare. Does price include installation? If not what is cost?

Yes, if outside signal strength is good (4-5 bars), then this SureCall Flare kit is certainly a good option. Its professional installation cost in your home anywhere in USA will be $299.99 (please contact us with your order number after receipt of the kit, if you don't wish to install it yourself).

However, if signal outside is weak (~3 bars), we highly recommend the SureCall Flare 3.0 version that has directional outside roof antenna (instead of exterior omni antenna). The reason is that unidirectional Yagi antenna can reach out farther to catch signals. Installation cost for this type kit is also the same at $299.99.

If outside signal strength is very weak (1-2 bars), you will need a kit with more power such as SureCall Fusion5s 2.0 or even more powerful SureCall Fusion5X 2.0 (power depending on how weak outside signal is) with a directional outside roof antenna that must be aimed precisely towards nearest cell tower. If signal strength is reasonably ok (~2 bars), a kit that we recommend bundled with professional installation service, is listed at this link: https://www.signalbooster.com/products/cell-phone-signal-booster-and-installation-service

View more details and/or purchase at link above, or contact us to discuss further. Thank you.

  • Will this work in Ecuador?

Yes, this cell phone signal booster will work in Ecuador. It is compatible with Claro's 850 Mhz spectrum and possibly Movistar's 2100 MHz 3G or CNT Mobile's 1700 MHz 4G LTE. However, it not work in UK.

  • I have identified this home signal booster unit model # SC-Poly-DT-O-Kit that I would like to buy. However, I would like to protect the system from lightning strikes that have been occurring in my area quite frequently (can global warming cause this?). Anyway, I just want to know the model number of the lighting surge arrestor to purchase for that system. It looks like I have an N connector on one side of the cabling with this kit and a F style connection on the other side. So I would need a lightning arrester that has one of each connector, I think.

The 75 Ohm lightning surge protector part model number SC-LP-75 is for this SureCall Flare kit. Its male side should be connected to the roof antenna and the female side should be connected to the coaxial cable that goes into home or building.

  • WILL IN WORK WITH CONSUMER CELLULAR SYSTEM IN ZIP CODE 32744

Yes, this cell phone signal booster covers all bands and boosts mobile reception of all wireless networks of all service providers in USA & Canada, including Consumer Cellular network in that zip code.

  • This system work with Videotron?

Yes, absolutely - This wireless signal booster kit will work with Videotron network in Canada. The Vidéotron Mobile network uses Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) spectrum using LTE on the 1700 MHz and 2100 MHz frequencies which are covered by this mobile signal booster system.

  • Will this work for Freedom wireless bands in Canada?

Yes, this mobile signal amplifier kit will work with Freedom Mobile network which covers 700 MHz to 2500 MHz frequencies. In fact, it works with all carrier networks in USA and Canada.

  • How long does it take to install this in a typical home?

It takes only 15 minutes maximum to install it.

  • Do any of the home boosters work with voLTE? I bought a Surecall Flare and it does LTE, but no voLTE.

Yes, you should be able to make calls over LTE. If you had SureCall Fusion5s or SureCall Fusion4Home, we would have suggested turning off certain bands that offer LTE to see if one works better than the other, but this referenced SureCall Flare nor SureCall Flare 3.0 do not have such adjustment dials. There has been no complaints of any of our current boosters in supporting VoLTE because basically they all boost LTE network which Carriers traditionally used to transmit data but now they also transmit voice over LTE (thus called VoLTE). Therefore, please try toggling airplane mode on/off while near the Flare and try again. Or turn off WiFi calling to make sure it is working purely off of the cell signal. You can also try a different phone to see if it works any better on a separate device. See if it even works outside of the house. Ultimately, if all troubleshooting has been exhausted, there is a possibility that there could be something wrong with the booster and you can contact us for free replacement under manufacturer's 3 years warranty. Thank you.

  • If we have 3 bars of Verizon outside will the $299 surecall flare work well?

Yes, we can anticipate that it will provide roughly 1000 sq. ft. max of good indoor coverage with that type signal outside. If larger coverage needed, we suggest SureCall Flare 3.0 with directional Yagi antenna which can reach out much farther to capture signals from farther away cell towers.

  • What all does the 60 day money back guarantee cover? We have never used any product like this before. We have alright service but not great. If it doesn’t work to our standard can we return it?

Yes, we give you total satisfaction guarantee so for any reason (per your standard, our standard, any standard) you may return for full refund within 60 days. Thank you.

  • Does it have to be hooked up to WiFi or internet to work?

No, it does not require wifi nor internet to work. It works over the air (OTA) by simply capturing signals outside 360 degrees from nearby cell towers using exterior antenna, injecting those signals inside the house via coax cable, then amplifying them many fold and finally broadcasting them inside the house/office through the desktop unit.

  • Need boost in one room of an office, office under 2000 sf. What do you recommend?

If signal outside the building is good (3-5 bars) and there's no restriction to installing an exterior antenna, we recommend this Flare signal booster kit with omnidirectional outside antenna.

If outside building signal is weak (1-2 bars) and there's no restriction to installing an exterior antenna, we recommend the more powerful Flare 3.0 signal booster kit with directional exterior antenna.

Above two are more powerful options that should more likely work than the next one below.

If there's restriction to installing an exterior antenna, we recommend EZ4G that requires no exterior antenna but this will only work if you have good signal atleast in one spot of the office (probably beside a window) where you can place donor antenna (aka. Window Antenna).

  • I cannot find serial # of SureCall Flare model number SC-Poly-DT-O-Kit. Can you please help because I need to get this signal booster working.

While registration has nothing to do with workability of the booster (it will work regardless of whether it is registered or not), cellular Carriers require that their subscribers register their signal booster.

This helps them to locate the signal booster and contact the subscriber to stop it till it is fixed by its manufacturer under its warranty, in an event the cell phone booster malfunctions causing damage to their wireless network

All FCC certified cellular amplifiers we sell are certified and have been issued a serial number so they can be registered with respective carrier(s) being used in the household. Yes, the same booster can be registered with multiple carriers whose networks will be used by residential homeowner, owner of the business property, or resident and business rental property office worker or manager.

The serial number is almost always located by the barcode. The barcode is usually near the label on the bottom of the booster. There are also some copies of the barcodes inside the booster kit package. You should not need a magnifying glass or reading glasses if you can already read the newspaper without them. An example of a serial number just to help you recognize it is: SC201230-Z0214.

  • I am looking to install this at my place of work. It's a horse barn so there is a lot of dust, dirt, horse hair, etc in the air. Is the indoor antenna safe from small particles, also, can it be wall mounted?

This 2 in 1 desktop booster and interior antenna kit will have no bearing on dust, etc. in surroundings.

Exterior antenna will have to be mounted outside for it to catch max signals and transmit inside to desktop booster & interior antenna (signal unit).

It is designed to be placed on a desktop or table because it improves reception omnidirectionally so it is usually mounted in the center of area requiring cellular reception boost or improvement.

However, it can be mounted any other way you can manage to mount it. Simoply know that it would be best to mount it closer to wherever you expect to use the cell device the most, because reception on the cell device would be better when it is closer to it.

  • I got this SureCall booster with Omni antenna for a family Christmas present for our ranch house out in the country. My son thinks we need the booster with the Yagi antenna instead because we have weak to medium signal in the country. Can we buy just the Yagi antenna? Or would it be best (or cheaper) to just return the one we got and buy an entire new kit that has the Yagi directional antenna? I'm referring to the SureCall Flare 3.0 with Yagi antenna.

Yes, instead of returning this SureCall Flare kit with Omni antenna, and purchasing the SureCall Flare 3.0 with Yagi antenna, it does make sense to simply purchase the Yagi antenna and switch it out with Omni antenna you have received. It would be cost and time effective if you check the cost of antenna and the shipping cost you will incur to return the kit back for refund. This way you will also have option to use Omni antenna in future if situation changes in your area because Omni antenna catches signals from all directions (just not as from farther away as yagi antennas do).

Please know that signal bars are not an accurate way to measure signal strength. Please check signal strength after turning on the power to the cell booster kit by putting your phone in field test mode or make and receive calls to know for sure whether there has been improvement. If using Yagi antenna, it must be pointed to nearest cell tower to focus farther and catch signals from farther away. A signal meter may help even more than your smartphone because it detects signals from other Carriers as well instead of the Carrier whose SIM card you have in your phone.

It is very important to install correctly per instructions provided - especially very important to place outside Omni multi-directional antenna at best spot on roof or point Yagi directional antenna precisely to nearest relevant carrier's cell tower.

  • Will this work for a parked Rv? Campgrounds I stay at, have poor signal reception. I use my phone for tv entertainment. Watch old movies and tv shows. Or can you advise on what best to use? Thank you.

Yes, this can be suitable if used when recreational vehicle is parked. It is not allowed for use when it is in motion because it exceeds maximum threshold of Gain allowed by FCC on moving vehicles (which is up to +50dB Gain whereas this offers up to +72dB Gain).

Therefore, you will need to dismantle everytime you're ready to move your RV. That is why a more convenient one would be the cell signal booster designed for RVs so you can permanently install it and you don't need to re-intall and remove, everytime it is needed and then not needed when ready to drive.

  • I currently have the SureCall Flare booster with the round antenna. I was told about the Yagi antenna SC-231W is supposed to deliver a much stronger signal vs. the Flare's Omni antenna. Are both antenna's interchangeable? Or would I have to purchase the complete package? In other words, could I simply purchase the Yagi antenna and connect it to my current setup?

Yes, you can buy the SC-231W and switch out with your existing omni antenna.

Please note that Yagi antenna is not more powerful per se - It simply has a narrow beam of transmission focus so it can reach out farther to catch cell signals from towers farther away.

However, please note that it is very important to point that Yagi antenna towards your nearest relevant carrier's cell tower for it to help - or the reception will be worse than the Omni antenna provides!

A signal meter may help in pointing it in the right direction.

Just confirming you're aware that Omni antenna that you currently have with this kit is great if signal outside is medium to good because they catch signals from all carrier's cell towers, from all directions. Their installation is also easier because they are placed vertically, and don't have to be pointed in any particular direction except straight up. Simply place it at the best signal spot outside the house, and you're done.

Please contact us for more details if you have any doubt about what you're planning to do. Thank you, kindly.

  • Does this signal booster improve T-Mobile 5G Band 71 frequency signals?

Sorry, only SureCall Force8, Cel-Fi Quatra 4000i, and WilsonPro 710i cover that particular frequency.

  • If you have a cell phone provider that uses Verizon wireless towers, will the signal booster work for it?

Yes, it definitely will. This is Carrier agnostic signal booster which means it works for all cellular carrier networks in USA. Therefore it boosts indoor cell phone coverage regardless whether your service is through a major Carrier like Verizon Wireless, or a smaller service provider such as any of its Mobile Virtual Network Provider (MVNO) listed below: (just a small list, not all Verizon MVNOs are listed below)

    1. CREDO Mobile.
    2. GreatCall.
    3. Net10.
    4. Pix Wireless.
    5. Page Plus.
    6. Red Pocket.
    7. Straight Talk.
    8. Total Wireless.
    9. TracFone.
    10. Twigby.
    11. US Mobile.
    12. Visible.

  • Will this work for a Samsung Galaxy tab A tablet. That's on a Verizon service account?

Yes, this can improve reception that a Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet on Verizon network can get. In fact, it can improve reception of all cell phones and tablets on all USA carrier networks because it improves cellular reception, period - Regardless of which service provider or type of SIM card connected mobile device you have.

  • Will this work with an AT&T hotspot?

Yes, this can improve reception that an AT&T hotspot can get and therefore the hotspot can transmit that signal to all connected devices.

  • Does this cover all Sprint bands

Yes, it boosts signal of all Sprint bands except Sprint's Band 41 (WiMAX).

  • Do the boosters work with Xfinity moblile?

Yes, they do. We also offer 60 days refund guarantee if you're not satisfied for any reason. Thank you.

  • Will this work in the following zip code 53962?

As long as there's some signal outside, it will work in all zip codes of United States. It is not limited to working in specific zipcodes nor limited to any specific Carrier - works on all service provider networks.

  • I live on a boat. If I mount this on the forward deck and run the flat cable say around the windshield to the interior, will this work ok?

The Flare signal booster on a boat is not recommended for several reasons. First, you may run into separation issues because you may not be able to place exterior and interior antennas far enough. Second, the FCC does not allow these type of in-home boosters for any moving vehicles which can only have max 50dB gain. Therefore, your boat will have to be docked and not move for you to be able to use the Flare cell booster. In-home/building boosters like Flare offer much higher Gain than allowed by FCC for use in moving vehicles such as boats. Therefore, we recommend the following booster designed for marine vessels instead:

    https://www.signalbooster.com/products/shakespeare-stream-marine-cellular-booster-for-small-open-boats

  • How well does the system work in a thunder/lightening storm?

It works to improve reception indoors in any weather but indoor coverage will be mitigated if outside signals are negatively affected due to bad weather.

  • Will this work if the antenna is installed inside the attic of a wood frame house?

Please clarify your question: Do you mean installing omni antenna and/or the coverage unit inside the attic of a wood framed house? Placing coverage unit in attic won't work as good, but may help slightly. Placing omni exterior antenna will work great if the strength and quality quality of cellular signal currently in attic without booster is good because amplification of signal by this 2 in 1 booster and coverage unit will be based upon that.

  • Do you have to drill a hole in your exterior wall so that you can connect the antenna outside to the booster inside, I assume?

Yes, you could drill a hole to run the cable into the house, and there are other options: For example, you can buy a flat coaxial cable and run it underneath a window instead.  Or if you have a satellite TV installed, you may be able to follow their cable and run your exterior antenna cable alongside their cable to run it inside the house.  Or you can run it underneath the flashing next to a vent pipe through the roof. Or you can make a small cable connector width hole in the Soffit, the underside of the home structure such as an arch, a balcony, or overhanging eave. Or if there's a vent on the side of the roof, you can run it through that. You will need to make a tiny hole in the mosquito net which is usually there at such exterior building vents. After running cable through any of the methods, remember to seal any openings, if any, with a silicone or similar sealant so no water or insects can get through.

  • Why must the carrier be notified?

Just to clarify, when we say carrier must be notified, it does not mean that you literally need to call the carrier to tell them you're going to use a signal booster. It is much easier than that because you merely submit a booster registration online form at their website providing your cell phone number and address where it will be used.

To precisely answer your question, providing such information can help your carrier contact you to request you to turn it off in a rare event it does not work properly and begins to damage their wireless network.

Such occurrences are rare because all our USA signal boosters are FCC certified and Canadian signal boosters are IC / ISED approved. Such approvals or certifications ensure that they work properly without damaging the cellular networks for the most part unless they have a manufacturers defect or they have got damaged due to severe impact or have come in contact with water causing water damage.

However, unlike the past when such regulations we not in place, there're hardly any such instances now. In the past, such instances were more frequent because some signal boosters would not power down or reduce amplification when oscillation was detected causing runaway oscillation causing damage to cell phone towers and network owned by carriers.

That is the reason why mobile carriers collaborated with cell phone signal booster manufacturers and federal regulators to require certification and approval process to ensure signal boosters worked properly in proper manner to prevent damage to the network. Within those regulations, it also required cell subscribers that used them to notify their respective carrier to ensure that if and when that carrier detected a runaway oscillation occurrence, they can contact that signal booster user to request them to power it off and have it fixed or replaced to mitigate damage to the wireless network or stop interference that may otherwise prevent other cell phone subscribers using same cell tower from using their cellular service.

  • How far can this boost signals? 20+ km?

The SureCall Flare signal booster can cover an average of 1 to 2 rooms. If you're talking about how far can you receive a signal, it is "theoretically" around 30 miles.

Realistically though, if you're talking about how far the booster can transmit back to the tower, it could do 20+ km if you're using a Yagi antenna for outside (here's the same kit with Yagi: https://www.signalbooster.com/products/surecall-flare-signal-booster-w-yagi-outside-antenna), and there are few obstructions along line of sight.

However, please note that you still need a decent amount of strength such as below -100 dBm (readings from phone) at the spot where you would mount your exterior antenna for the signal booster to improve reception indoors.

Warning

Note: For any signal booster to help, outside signal strength must be at least -110 dB or there must be a clear line of sight to a cell tower that is within twenty miles. Before ordering, please check outside signal level in decibels or ensure that you can make and hold a phone call at any good spot outside where you can mount an exterior antenna. Square footage stated in signal booster listings is based on good signal outside. If it is any weaker, the boosted sq. ft. area will be considerably lower, accordingly.

Kevin K. of Anderson, California gave the following review:

Website is easy to use with plain straight forward info but could have had more on testing signal strength to make sure you get a strong enough booster.

Therefore, please note that stated sq. ft. coverage is based on good signal outside. For best results: If outside signal is weak, we suggest choosing the next higher sq. ft. coverage kit. If outside signal is very weak, we suggest choosing the kit with even more higher sq. ft. range bracket. Basically, higher the sq. ft. bracket, the more powerful the signal amplifier with greater Gain as well as higher uplink and downlink output power.

If outside signal is too weak (weaker than -110 dB), submit request for cell coverage solution assessment. Upon receipt of questionnaire, we will perform residential or business site survey. This will help us determine the system that is needed to improve cell coverage. Then, we will create system design using that system such as femtocell, active or hybrid distributed antenna system (DAS), or other carrier feed signal enhancing method available that will work at your signal-challenged location. Finally, we will schedule for installation after equipment and installation service quote has been approved by you, or your company.

For non installation-included kits: Most home / office / building cell signal booster kits only include bracket to mount exterior antenna on outside wall, edge of roof, or existing pipe up to 2 inches in diameter. Mounting pole not included with most kits, unless stated specifically that it is included for free. Therefore, a mounting post must be purchased separately if you will require it to mount exterior antenna.
